"Wake Up, Dormouse" is a whimsical motion design project inspired by Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and the enchanting artistry of Mary Blair from Disney's 1950s adaptation. Drawing inspiration from the famous tea party scene, this animation reimagines a classic Wonderland moment with a playful, surreal twist.

In Carroll's story, the Dormouse is a drowsy character at the Mad Hatter's tea party, frequently nodding off. At one point, the Mad Hatter exclaims, "Wake up, Dormouse!"—a call that sparks this animation’s concept.

The illustrations, crafted in Adobe Illustrator, feature a dreamy purple palette, a nod to Mary Blair's iconic work. To enhance the magical atmosphere, a glittering dotted texture was added, giving the visuals a sense of depth and wonder.

Brought to life in After Effects, the animation focuses on capturing the unpredictable, enchanting essence of Wonderland.
